Evian Christ’s “Yxguden” video featuring Bladee is a surreal CGI opera

Evian Christ will drop his long-awaited debut album Revanchrist on Friday. The U.K.-based producer and composer has already released "On Embers" and today he unleashes "Yxguden," an album highlight featuring Drain Gang rapper Bladee. "Yxguden" comes with a video that is designed to stimulate the mind with a series of rare images, all computer-generated.

That includes a snowman cooking a pizza in a wood-fired stove, a muscular alien dancing on a factory production line, and a peanut with a poster of English soccer referee Mark Clattenburg on his bedroom wall.

It's a wild ride. Check it out below. Prior to the roll-out of his upcoming album, Evian Christ last released music in 2020 when he dropped "Ultra." Prior to that he shared his debut mixtape, Kings and Them, in 2012, before following it up with the Waterfall EP in 2014.
