Due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, the Metropolitan Museum of Art had to postpone its blockbuster spring 2020 Costume Institute exhibition, “About Time: Fashion and Duration”, which was originally planned to take place on 4th May 2020.
In lieu of the opening and the corresponding launch party, the 2020 Met Gala, many are still planning to mark the occasion online, via what American Vogue magazine has dubbed the 'Net Gala'.
And, with the hope of the event being rescheduled for later in the year, there is still plenty of interest in the theme of the exhibition.
