However, there is also another phenomena that the winter seasons brings. Seasonal affective disorder, aptly known as SAD, is a type of depression that occurs as the seasons change.
SAD can occur during the summer months, but it is commonly known as “winter depression” and affects millions of people across the world.
It is believed that SAD is caused due to the lack of sunlight.
