Strictly Come Dancing fans have said it's 'not needed' as they made a complaint just seconds into the 2023 final. It was just Ellie Leach, Layton Williams and Bobby Brazier left in the competition as it reached its climax on Saturday night (December 16).

The finale of the BBC One dance contest kicked off with a performance from the show's group of talented professionals who performed dressed in black and white, with Amy Dowden also involved much to fans' delight after she had to pull out of competing in the competition this year due to being diagnosed with cancer and undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

But it was the three remaining celebrity contestants that were shown walking around the studio before greeting their pro dancers, and performing a short dance as they were heard speaking over the dramatic clips.
