Ozzy Osbourne

John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, actor and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which he adopted the nickname "The Prince of Darkness".

Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979 due to alcohol and drug problems, but he went on to have a successful solo career, releasing eleven studio albums, the first seven of which were all awarded multi-platinum certifications in the United States. Osbourne has since reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions.

Eurovision ‘will be organised by the BBC’ if winners Ukraine give up opportunity to host

Eurovision is likely to be organised by the BBC if Ukraine decides to ‘resign’ the chance of hosting the event, according to the president of Spain’s state broadcaster RTVE. Eurovision fever stormed the continent last month, with the latest edition of the song contest attracting 189 million streams.

It was won by Ukrainian act Kalush Orchestra, who rose up the leaderboard with their track Stefania, just weeks after the nation was invaded by Russia.

But with the UK coming second for the first time in years, after Sam Ryder’s momentous efforts, many fans believe it will be up to the runners-up to put on the show next year.

With doubts over whether Ukraine will have the capacity to host, the chairman of Spanish state broadcaster RTVE, Manuel Pérez Tornero, has admitted he thinks the BBC ‘will organise it’ if the winning nation is unable to.
