The Eurovision Song Contest has been cancelled this year due to the worldwide coronavirus outbreak. The contest which has been running for 64 years, was due to hold it's annual competition in Rotterdam this May but organisers have released a statement saying that it will no longer be going ahead despite looking in to alternative options.A spokesperson said: "It is with deep regret that we have to announce the cancellation of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam."Over the past few weeks, we have explored many alternative options to allow the Eurovision Song Contest to go ahead.
