The European Producers Club (EPC) has appointed Julie-Jeanne Régnault as its new Managing Director. She replaces Alexandra Lebret, who stepped down in January after a 23-year-stint heading the 32-year-old association, representing 200 independent production companies across 35 European countries.

Régnault, who was Secretary General of the European Film Agency Directors Association (EFAD) from 2019 to 2025, brings extensive experience in policy and advocacy within the audiovisual sector. “We are thrilled to welcome Julie-Jeanne Régnault as our Managing Director,” said Dariusz Jablonski, President of the EPC Board of Directors. “Her expertise and vision align perfectly with our primary mission to amplify the voice of independent producers in Europe.” Carlotta Calori, Vice-President of the EPC Board of Directors, added: “A very warm welcome to Julie- Jeanne Régnault.

Her enthusiasm, competence, and energy will help us navigate the challenges ahead and create an even stronger home for our family of independent European producers.” While the EPC remains formally headquartered in Paris, Régnault will be based in Brussels, ensuring a permanent presence of EPC within EU institutions.

In her new role, she will focus on expanding networking opportunities and professional services for members, strengthening partnerships with major industry events and organizations, and deepening EPC’s engagement with European policymakers. “I am honored to join the EPC, a unique platform that unites some of the most talented independent European producers across cinema and television,” said Régnault.  “These inspiring leaders are at the heart of Europe’s creative dynamism.
