Essential structural investigations and associated works are being carried out on the M74 northbound and southbound at Junction 6, and underneath on the A723 eastbound and westbound between Motherwell and Hamilton.Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, started the work on March 4 and it will run until Friday, June 6, between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.The work will be carried out using overnight lane closures on the M74 and total overnight closures on the A723.
