Alistair Appleton, the beloved host of Escape to the Country, was viewers' rock during Monday's emotional episode.The BBC favourite started the show introducing Kerry, a solo home seeker who'd spent over 20 years in her Maidstone three-bed, but with her heart set on Dorset since forever, especially with her children fully grown.

Sharing with fans, Kerry admitted, "My heart has always been in Dorset even though I've been away for so long.To finally be coming back is just amazing."
