Who hasn’t dreamt of just upping sticks and moving into a castle in mainland Europe? This year it was more prevalent than ever!

The Strawbridges they made that dream a reality back in 2015 when Dick and Angel decided to relocate to a French chateau. They spent the last five years pouring their heart and soul into their new home and their journey has seen them get their own show.

The pair appeared on Escape to the Chateau which followed their quest to rehabilitate the 19th-century building. The couple welcomed their son Arthur in 2013 and their daughter Dorothy a year later, and aren’t shy about sharing what it’s like to raise a family in their revamped home.
