A deal for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland to join Manchester City this summer is 'very imminent' according to reports in Italy.
The 21-year-old is one of the most prolific forwards in world football, with his £62million release clause attracting some of Europe's elite clubs this summer.
Haaland - after breaking through at RB Salzburg - has further enhanced his reputation in the Bundesliga and is now seemingly ready for the next step in his career.
City have been on the lookout for a recognised number nine since Sergio Agüero departed the Etihad Stadium in 2021. The club's all-time top goalscorer was dependable for nearly a decade, so replacing him was always going to be a tough ask.
