Under pressure Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag may have been proven right with his own stance on selling Scott McTominay this summer.
The midfielder ended his time at Old Trafford, completing a move to Serie A side Napoli. The final fee for the academy graduate could rise to £30 million, with that money counting as pure profit in the club’s financial records due to him coming up through the youth team.
