Manchester United's players were put through their paces at Carrington on Wednesday morning as preparations for a reunion with Jose Mourinho stepped up a level.
United face Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday night as they look to secure a first victory in the new-look league phase following disappointing draws with FC Twente and Porto.
Mourinho is already feeling the heat in Istanbul after a slow start to the season. Jonny Evans is set to miss the game after picking up a knock at the weekend, and Bruno Fernandes is suspended after his red card against Porto.
The skipper has been given a couple of days off training to rest.
