United have agreed a deal in principle for Frenkie de Jong which could push the 25-year-old down the pecking order. According to The Times, Newcastle United are one of the clubs interested in signing the midfielder.
Despite this, Ten Hag reportedly does still see McTominay as a 'pivotal player' and doesn't want to entertain any offers.
