Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga has welcomed the competition for places that is being generated during pre-season following Friday's 4-1 win over Melbourne Victory.

United recorded their second win in as many pre-season outings, coming from behind to score four goals for the second game in succession at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

After going a goal down with just five minutes on the clock, the Reds scored twice in quick succession just before half-time, with Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial both getting on the scoresheet.

Manager Erik ten Hag, just as he did in Bangkok against Liverpool, made 10 changes at half-time, meaning United had a very different look after the break.
