The 52-year-old joined the Dutch giants from great rivals FC Utrecht in 2017 with the Amsterdam outfit in disarray following a turbulent period. According to Eurosport, he arrived at Ajax on his first day with an FC Utrecht suitcase. It was a move that is said to have caused Ajax fans to “hate” Ten Hag before he had time to get his feet under the desk.
