The Government will set out how it intends to help businesses with soaring energy costs during the cost of living crisis next week, it's been confirmed, together with a vow to backdate any payments if needed.
Officials are currently working on strategies to support businesses through what is is expected to be a difficult winter, after the Government announced last week an unprecedented package of energy support for UK households.
But some firms have raised concerns at the prospect of having to wait several weeks longer than households - until November - for equivalent support.
The news came as Parklife and Warehouse Project founder, Sacha Lord, said he feared seven out of 10 pubs could close this winter without urgent Government intervention.
