Emotional Gemma Atkinson gives update on first reality show as she details current home plan amid Gorka Marquez absence

Gemma Atkinson has given fans an update on her first-ever reality show after delighting fans with the news last month. Her latest appearance on social media also saw her give an update on her current home situation after welcoming her second child last week.

Before the arrival of her and her Strictly Come Dancing star fiance Gorka Marquez's son, who they have since confirmed is named Thiago Thomas Marquez, Gemma revealed that she and her other half had been filming their journey to expand their family for a new TV show.

Bury-born Gemma, 38, and Spanish dancer Gorka, 32, shared the trailer for Gemma & Gorka: Life Behind the Lens ahead of its release this summer. "We’re so excited to announce our brand new show “Gemma & Gorka: Life behind the lens” which will air on @wtvchannel and @uktvplay this summer!" the pair, who met when Gemma was a contestant on BBC One's Strictly back in 2017, revealed. And since the arrival of their second child, a baby brother for first-born daughter Mia, Gemma has clearly been quizzed on the new show as she shared details about her labour for the first time, saying she didn't get the vaginal birth she'd hope but had an emergency c-section like she did four years ago with Mia.
