Emmerdale’s Will star Dean Andrews’ life with fiancée Helen and grandchildren

Emmerdale has pulled out the stops to celebrate its 50th anniversary in a series of episodes that have left viewers on the edge of their seats.

In particular, there was an explosion with a quad bike that saw the death of Harriet Finch, although Kim Tate did try to save her.This prompted drama with Kim’s husband Will Taylor, who wondered if his wife killed his ex deliberately - something that viewers know she’s capable of.

On the ITV soap Will is played by Dean Andrews and off screen the actor’s life is certainly different to the drama of his character.

Dean, 59, may be one of Emmerdale’s stars, but it wasn’t where the Yorkshire-born star began his career. In 2005, Dean played Steven Maynard in the ITV drama Wire in the Blood and a year later he appeared in Life On Mars, as the character DS Ray Carling.
