Emmerdale has pulled out the stops to celebrate its 50th anniversary in a series of episodes that have left viewers on the edge of their seats. In particular, there was an explosion with a quad bike that saw the death of Harriet Finch, although Kim Tate did try to save her.This prompted drama with Kim’s husband Will Taylor, who wondered if his wife killed his ex deliberately - something that viewers know she’s capable of. On the ITV soap Will is played by Dean Andrews and off screen the actor’s life is certainly different to the drama of his character.

Emmerdale fans have loved the character of Will Taylor who has brought plenty of drama to the Dales - but it could be that there's change on the horizon.Arriving in 2019, Will Taylor is the father of Dawn, who this year, married Billy Fletcher and was caught up in serial killer Meena's murderous plans.For years, Dawn thought her father was dead after the single father was sentenced for working as a drug smuggler but upon his return, Will has been trying his hardest to fix things.However, reboot rumours of Life on Mars have been swirling for a while now and actor Dean Andrews was an integral part of the cast. If the reboot does take place, Dean Andrew has reportedly already said he'd want to leave Emmerdale village and re-unite with his former castmates.

Emmerdale star Dean Andrews, who plays Will Taylor on the ITV soap, has revealed he will have to "beg" the show's bosses to let him return to the new series of Life On Mars.
