Emmerdale star Laura Norton has revealed her hair started to fall out in large clumps shortly after she joined the ITV soap.Laura who plays Kerry Wyatt in the programme has revealed that she started to lose her hair aged just 16 but it truly hit her after she signed on the dotted line.The 38-year-old started taking synthetic hormones in a bid to tackle her "horrendous" period pains when she was younger but wasn't aware of the side effects the medication would have on her.Laura claims that when she was prescribed the hormone tablets, doctors failed to disclose the side effects that would later have detrimental effects on her.Opening up about the ordeal in an emotional letter for New magazine, she wrote: "What they never told me was certain pills are testosterone-heavy and attack hair follicles, making hair get thinner and weaker, then fall out." However, things took a drastic turn for the worse when she joined Emmerdale back in 2012, explaining: "After years of ups and downs, falling out, growing back and so on, I reached a peak.
