Emmerdale's Jay Kontzle proudly announced his third child with wife Mimi arrived last Friday, joining their two existing children - six-year-old son Zian and four-year-old daughter KaiBo.The actor, who has played Billy Fletcher on the soap for the past four years, jokingly added he hoped the new arrival would be their last.He revealed Mimi was induced on Wednesday and by Friday November 18, their new baby made its grand entrance into the world. The proud father had admitted back in July their third bundle of joy was far from planned and when Mimi made a phone call to him as he ate lunch on the Enmmerdale set, his first reaction had been shock."All of a sudden I went hot and started dripping with sweat," he recalled to OK!

magazine."Before that, Mimi had said she wanted to get a pregnancy test and I said: ‘A pregnancy test? That’s a lot of money that, especially with the cost of living going up,'" he joked.Mimi admitted in the months leading up to her pregnancy, she had asked Jay if they could try for baby number three but his answer had always been a firm "no"."I think it’s just the fact that we got to an age with our other two where they’re old enough and there’s no nappies and bottles, and we got our sleep back," Jay reflected as he discussed his initial reluctance. However, Mimi added his denials had made her all the more keen to conceive, "basically just to be spiteful".Jay added she was "sly" but now the initial shock is over, both are proud to become parents for a third time.Jay announced last month on Instagram: "Not long now until this family of 4 become 5!"Since then, he has shared his first photo - of the new arrival's tiny feet - with OK!
