Emmerdale fans have been left pleading 'don't' as they witnessed Tom King's latest ploy in his abuse of wife Belle. Fans of the ITV soap haven't really trusted the character ever since he returned to the village and rekindled his romance with Belle last year after years apart.

There were then concerning scenes shown in October when Tom popped the question to Belle and didn't take her turning him down very well, assuming it meant she didn't love him.

They eventually got engaged in December when Belle roped in his heroes Torvill and Dean for the surprise and the pair married earlier this year.

But ever since their wedding night ended with Belle in tears and sleeping on the sofa, viewers have watched Tom's coercively controlling behaviour continue to unfold.
