The 44-year-old The Voice UK presenter admitted she'd be "very surprised" if the 35-year-old author isn't crowned Queen of the Castle after the new series kicks off on Sunday.
Emma insisted that in their 15 years of friendship she is yet to see a "dark" side to Giovanna, adding that she is one of the nicest people she's ever met.
Speaking to The Sun Online, the star explained: "I've known her for 15 years and from the minute I met her I was like: 'I don't believe you, there's some darkness in there' - and I'm still looking for it.
