Couple Emma and Matt Willis have said they feel like they have "lost" their two eldest children, by giving them smartphones.The 48-year-old presenter and her 41-year-old musician husband have began looking into the use of technology within their household, particularly their phone usage after filming a new documentary.The pair have become involved with the new two-part documentary on Channel 4 titled: 'Swiped: The School That Banned Smartphones', that tackles the timely issue of the impact smartphones have on children.The pair will go undercover as 13-year-olds online to see exactly what children has access to, by using TikTok.

As well as teaming up with The Stanway School, in Colchester, where they are challenging the secondary school students to give up their smartphones for 21 days, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The pair who share three children together - Isabelle, 15, Ace, 13 and Trixie, 8 - have started to regret giving their two older children smart phones, claiming social media to be the "biggest disruptor" for them.

Matt told The Sun newspaper: "Our daughter was 11 when she got a smartphone, it’s been the biggest disruptor between us and her, I feel like I lose her to it quite a bit.
