A man has been arrested on suspicion of malicious communications follow a bomb hoax in Manchester. Police were called to reports of a bomb threat at the Abraham Moss Centre on Crescent Road on Saturday (June 8).
Greater Manchester Police and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue attended following the reports from security and members of the public were evacuated as a precaution.
In line with procedure, a search of the building was then carried out by emergency services. Thankfully, there was no credible threat identified.
An 18-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of malicious communications and remains in police custody at this time for questioning.
