Elton John, 75, is currently in Australia celebrating Christmas with his husband David Furnish, 60, and their two children: Elijah, nine and Zachary, 12.The Hollywood star has taken to Instagram to share a heartwarming video thanking his fans for an amazing year, while also sharing an insight into his quiet family plans with his husband and young sons.Elton was sure to get in the Christmas spirit as she shared a video in a red Gucci jumper along with glasses shaped like Santa hats.He said with a Christmas tree behind him in view of his 4.3 million Instagram followers: "It's been an amazing year and I want to thank you all for being so supportive and those who came to the shows, those who watch videos online, those who bought CD, vinyl, stream things."It's been probably the most successful year of my career.

We started off in January after knocking for two years in New Orleans and we have done 92 of the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour and they have all been so fantastic!"Because you came to the shows, you dressed up, you made me have fun, you looked amazing and sang to all the songs.

You held signs up saying how many shows you'd been to."It really touched me and it moved me and it made me feel like a million dollars."So thank you to all of you for making me feel so special this year.

I have the best fans, you are the best!"The Your Song hitmaker then shared an insight into how he planned to spend Christmas in Australia with his husband and two children.He continued: "We are now in Australia and we are having a little family Christmas before I start doing shows in Australia again, we do seven here and three in New Zealand.Then I will be back in Europe and finishing off in July."Thank you all.
