Ellen DeGeneres' wife Portia de Rossi is reportedly “doing well” after being rushed to hospital on Friday evening. The actress is recovering after she required emergency surgery for appendicitis.According to her representative, Portia, 48, was "rushed" to hospital but is now recovering and at home with Ellen and is “doing well”.A source spoke to People and said: "Ellen rushed Portia to the hospital on Friday night, she was in a lot of pain."They continued: ”It was appendicitis and she had surgery.”The source also confirmed that Portia is now resting and Ellen is currently taking care of her, despite the couple being initially scared.They said: "It was a scare at first, but all good.”Appendicitis occurs when there is a painful inflammation.
