Elle Fanning is ushering in designer Sarah Burton‘s new era at Givenchy! The 26-year-old Emmy-nominated actress wears designer’s first-ever custom haute couture look as creative director of Givenchy to the 2025 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 2) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Elle wore a white lace dress with a black bow tied around her waist. “Sarah has become a dear friend and collaborator,” Elle shared with Vogue. “This year marks my first time ever attending the Academy Awards.

And it’s an honor to be the first woman to wear a Sarah Burton Couture Givenchy design!” Elle‘s movie A Complete Unknown is nominated tonight for 8 awards including Best Picture.

The Oscars will be hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien for the first time and the show is airing live on ABC and Hulu.
