But that’s who she is. Wherever she’s needed, however she’s needed, Kamala rises to the occasion.” As the speech came to an end, Ella was seen looking at her father from the audience and clutching her chest, before embracing her grandmother, Barbara Emhoff.
At one point, she affectionately raised a “Doug” sign in appreciation. She was shown smiling before laughing and covering her mouth. “Ella Emhoff is clearly touched by her father’s speech at the DNC,” The Recount noted in a clip that’s since taken off on social media.
