Fellow A Complete Unknown cast members on the red carpet included Boyd Holbrook, and wife Tatiana Pajkovic, and Scoot McNairy, and girlfriend Sosie Bacon.
The Oscars will be hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien for the first time and the show is airing live on ABC and Hulu.
The movie Emilia Perez leads the nominations with 13 nods, followed by The Brutalist and Wicked with 10 each.
