Eddie Hearn confirms Anthony Joshua will be out for four weeks with knee injury

Eddie Hearn has confirmed that Anthony Joshua will be out of action for four weeks with a knee injury. AJ was seen out in his hometown Watford on Saturday amid the Black Lives Matter protests.

He was donning crutches, and even used a scooter, leading to rumours that the boxing supremo could be out of action for his next match.

The Brit takes on Kubrat Pulev in September but promoter Hearn has moved to quell those fears. He told Boxing Scene that Joshua will be out of action for four weeks after injuring his left knee.

It happened during a running exercise but it should not affect his clash with the Bulgarian, that has already had to be postponed amid the coronavirus crisis.On Saturday, the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion joined in.
