Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is reportedly relishing the chance to lock horns with Tottenham counterpart Daniel Levy in a bid to land Harry Kane this summer.
Recent reports have claimed Kane is ready to ditch Spurs in search of a new challenge at Old Trafford in the summer after a miserable season in north London likely to spark a major rebuild.
He is interested in joining Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Old Trafford revival but the club know he will not come cheap. And the Evening Standard claim Woodward is itching to test his negotiation skills against Levy in a bid to secure the signing of England ace Kane.
