Ed Sheeran reveals DIY album cover for upcoming release as fans say it's 'so fun'

Ed Sheeran may be one of the biggest stars in the world, but sometimes even global pop superstars want to get back to basics.

Like with his new album, which he has just revealed the cover of - and it's reassuringly DIY. His last album, — [Subtract], was the final in his mathematical-themed series.

The new record which has previously been revealed as Autumn Variations is designed for the cosy season, with merch to match.

Earlier this year he said: "Last autumn, I found that my friends and I were going through so many life changes. After the heat of the summer, everything either calmed, settled, fell apart, came to a head or imploded."
