Ed Sheeran has a guitar fail live in Manchester as the 'battery dies'
msn.comEd Sheeran suffered a guitar fail live on stage in front of 60,000 fans as the 'battery pack died' preventing him to performing during his Manchester show on Monday.
The singer, 31, was performing at the Etihad Stadium in front of 60,000 fans when his guitar suddenly malfunctioned and stopped working.
Ed was only a few songs into his concert when his key instrument gave up on him causing him to pause the show. In a video recorded by a fan, the star, who is well known for stripping songs back and featuring just himself and his guitar on stage, can be seen apologising to the crowd.
Ed who performs on a rotating stage in the centre of the stadium said: 'My guitar keeps switching off'. He can then be heart asking his team for 'another guitar' before adding, 'sorry guys I think the battery has gone'.
