EasyJet to remove food and drink service when flights resume in coronavirus plan

EasyJet will be removing its entire in-flight food and drink "Bistro" service as part of a series of strict post- coronavirus safety measures.

In an email sent out to customers last night, EasyJet set out its plans to look after the "wellbeing of travellers while continuing to offer great value".

The budget airline said it would be "conducting additional deep cleaning and disinfection" and crews will be "required to wear masks at all times".

EasyJet also said it will be removing in-flight food for all flights and its entire Bistro service will not be available for the "time being".
