An easyJet plane was 'surrounded by police' on the runway after the pilot made an emergency landing on Wednesday afternoon (April 19).
The flight, from Liverpool to Dalaman, Turkey, was met by officers after being forced to land in Munich. It was later confirmed the reason was due to two passengers behaving 'disruptively' on board.
Eyewitnesses told the ECHO that the two passengers left the plane with officers after landing and that there was a large police presence at the scene. Fellow passengers on the flight said they felt 'unsafe' with the 'drama' that unfolded on the plane. One eyewitness said the easyJet crew were 'very professional and calm' when dealing with the incident.
