The flight, from Liverpool to Dalaman, Turkey, was met by officers after being forced to land in Munich. It was later confirmed the reason was due to two passengers behaving 'disruptively' on board.
Eyewitnesses told the ECHO that the two passengers left the plane with officers after landing and that there was a large police presence at the scene. READ MORE: Join the FREE Manchester Evening News WhatsApp community The Airbus set off from Liverpool John Lennon Airport at 1.06pm on Wednesday, April 19 but just over two hours into the journey, the flight began circling over Munich before making an emergency landing at 4.19pm Central European Summer Time (CEST).
Fellow passengers on the flight said they felt 'unsafe' with the 'drama' that unfolded on the plane. One eyewitness said the easyJet crew were 'very professional and calm' when dealing with the incident.
