easyJet has launched some new flights from two Scottish airports this festive season, including a new route from Edinburgh to Lapland.
The budget airline has also put some brand new holiday packages on sale for six of the eight routes, reports Wales Online.For those looking for a festive getaway, easyJet has launched a flight path from Edinburgh Airport to Rovaniemi, which is the gateway to Finnish Lapland.
This route will launch on December 3, and will operate twice a week from the airport throughout the winter months.Also launching is a new route from Glasgow to Egypt’s scuba diving hotspot Hurghada.
Flights will leave from Glasgow twice a week from November 8, as well as three other routes in the UK - including Belfast (October 31), Liverpool (October 26) and Edinburgh (November 6).easyJet is the number one carrier from the UK to both Egypt and North Africa, and will continue to boost their popularity across the country with these new routes.
