Easyjet apologises after passenger who lost passport left 'stranded' in Manchester Airport terminal for three hours

Easyjet has apologised after a passenger who missed his flight when he realised he had lost his passport was left 'stranded' inside Manchester Airport for three hours.

Tom Solan, 52, only realised when he got to the gate at Terminal 1 for his flight to Cyprus that his passport was missing. It meant he missed the New Year's Eve departure and his holiday.
