Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane criticised striker Rasmus Hojlund after he was guilty of squandering opportunities in the first half of Monday night's FA Cup tie with Wigan Athletic.

United went into the half-time interval at the DW Stadium with a one-goal lead, secured thanks to a sweet strike from Diogo Dalot after 22 minutes.

The Reds, however, should have sealed their place in the fourth round of the competition by the break, wasting a plethora of chances.

Scott McTominay, Marcus Rashford and Hojlund all went close to adding to United's tally, either being denied by Sam Tickle in the Wigan goal or putting the ball wide of the target.
