to punters at his own holiday camp. Shane, who played Albert Square’s Alfie Moon, kickstarted his showbiz career in Pontins on the Isle of Wight and wants to go back to his roots.
He said: “If I won the lottery I wouldn’t knock it on the head but I’d open up my own theatre. I’d like to open my own holiday camp with the best cabaret and food, live shows and accommodation. “I would do that in Devon, the east coast or southern Ireland.” After his start as a Pontins bluecoat, Shane became a stand-up comic and, in 2002, joined the cast of EastEnders.
