ok.co.ukWhen EastEnders fans found out that soap icon, Rita Simons, who played Roxy Mitchell for 10 years was returning to Albert Square, it’s safe to say that they were both excited and baffled.
Mainly due to the fact that Simons’ character was killed off in 2017 alongside her on-screen sister, Ronnie Mitchell, who was played by Samantha Womack.
However, it all made sense when Roxy appeared posthumously (well, sort of), as a figment of her daughter Amy’s imagination during a therapy session.
While fans were delighted by the soap star’s return, it’s not the first time they’ve called for the feisty Mitchell sister to be brought back.
