EastEnders stalwart - for 35 years making her one of the show's longest running characters. June died at her home in Surrey on Sunday surrounded by family, according to reports.
She played Dot Cotton, a chain-smoking laundry assistant and mother of notorious criminal Nick Cotton from 1985 and appeared in a staggering 2,884 episodes.
After various long-running storylines involving her villainous offspring and a partnership with second husband Jim Branning (played by John Bardon), June, a mum of six, left the show aged 93.Her character is legendary in soapland and Dot was also well known for her Christian faith, hypochondria and of course, the endless fags.
She's so iconic that catwalk collections have even been inspired by her.June's final scene in EastEnders was in January 2020.
