Lola passed away on Wednesday night's episode after battling terminal brain cancer - leaving her husband, Jay, and young daughter, Lexi, heartbroken.
Viewers of the BBC One soap had been dreading the episode for weeks, which came after hairdresser and mother of one, Lola, was diagnosed with an incurable brain cancer last year.
With Jay now heartbreakingly a widower, actor Jamie, 28, has teased what's next for his character at the 2023 British Soap Awards on Saturday.
