EastEnders viewers have been teased with the arrival of Albert Square's latest hunk Ravi Gulati, played by Aaron Thiara. First seen alongside Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) in prison, Ravi headed straight to Walford after being released, where it soon unfolded that he is the son of Ranveer Gulati (Anil Goutam), the business partner of the Panesars.
After the patriarch of the Gulati family blackmails Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), upcoming episodes will see Ravi discovering his father's lifeless body after an altercation with Suki.

What was your reaction like when you found out you were joining EastEnders? When my agent called and said “you've got it” I was in a state of trying to comprehend it and process that it was happening, it didn't hit me until I came in for the characterisation.
