Fans of BBC’s EastEnders are convinced that they have worked out the Christmas storyline, as newcomer George Knight has candidly revealed to Phil Mitchell that he has a secret son.The new lover of Elaine Peacock, George, played by Colin Salmon, has arrived on Albert Square alongside his two daughters Anna and Gina (played by Strictly's Molly Rainford and newcomer Francesca Henry), to help Elaine run the legendary Queen Vic pub.

Viewers were left stunned by the new revelation about George's son on Monday's episode, 5 June, and believe there is a twist on the way, just in time for the festive season. The identity of the son hasn’t been revealed and but fans think they could be seeing him on screen soon.

EastEnders fans know that one of the male characters will be killed off at Christmas with six female suspects. This was teased in a flashforward clip although it is yet to be revealed who is killed off. There is speculation that it will be George who will be killed after the chat he had with Phil Mitchell where he revealed his son went “off the rails” and that he “doesn’t see much of him”.This has led to a new fan theory that the crime happens at George’s pub.

Unfortunately for fans, the conversation was short and George didn’t reveal any more details on his son. George’s daughters have not mentioned having a brother so it is unknown if they are in contact with him.
