EastEnders fans 'work out' real reason for Cindy's return amid soap comeback
ok.co.ukAs Cindy Beale made her triumphant return to EastEnders this week, 25 years on after faking her own death on the soap, fans at home were given the inside scoop on where she had been all this time on Thursday’s episode.
Cindy, who had been living under the fake identity of Rose Knight, was revealed to be living in France after being placed under witness protection for becoming an informant for her former cell mate.
Yet in a bizarre plot twist, it was soon revealed that her ex-husband Ian Beale was living with her, as was her son Peter Beale and her grandson Louie.
Playing happy families, the reunited couple appeared to be living an idyllic dream, with the situation soon coming to a surprising end, when Cindy was informed that that her former cell mate had passed away, meaning she was free to return to her old identity - something which even prompted Ian to suggest returning to Walford.
