It's been a whirlwind for Cindy; after two months of sleuthing, she discovered her Christmas Day assailant was none other than her mother-in-law, Kathy Beale.This revelation led to a series of unfortunate events, including Cindy 'accidentally' shooting Ian in the arm during a heated argument and pushing him into the path of Reiss Colwell's speeding car.

The ensuing chaos saw Reiss swerve into gas canisters at the Queen Vic, triggering a catastrophic explosion. Cindy herself ended up hospitalised, saved from being crushed by Kathy.
