Last Christmas took a dramatic turn for her character when Cindy's affair with her ex-husband George Knight's (Colin Salmon) son, Junior (Micah Balfour), was exposed at the Queen Vic.
Moments later, she was hit over the head with a large metal spade and seemingly left for dead, by an unknown resident. Following weeks of speculation about who it could be, viewers finally discovered that Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) was the culprit during Tuesday's dramatic episode.
Speaking to Best Magazine, 62-year-old Michelle admitted she was taken aback by the revelation. "Yeah, I really was [shocked].
