Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.
The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.
Early numbers show that the ABC News debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris will easily surpass the audience for this cycle’s first event in June featuring Trump and President Joe Biden.
The debate was watched by an estimated 57.7 million viewers across eight networks, according to Nielsen figures released by Fox News.
That is higher even than the early numbers for June’s CNN-hosted event, which drew an estimated 51.3 million viewers across 16 networks.
Final figures will be available later today. ABC News topped all networks with an estimated 18.31 million viewers, followed by NBC News with 9.7 million, Fox News with 8.67 million, MSNBC with 6.02 million, CBS News with 5.91 million, Fox Broadcasting with 4.74 million, CNN with 4.11 million and Fox Business Network with 287,000.
